Tips

A helping hand to make sure you make the most out of your application.

To help you get started on your applications, we've compiled a list of tips.

If you have any questions about the Emerging Leaders Awards, feel free to get in touch with us through our contact form.

Being an Emerging Leader is about more than just good grades. Before you start filling out the application form, think about what makes you an all-rounder. We want to see what makes you, you. Do you play sports? Are you involved in student societies or clubs? Have you won previous awards? Have you done any volunteer work? What are your key accomplishments?

Double-triple-quadruple check your application before pressing "Submit"!

Make sure you fill out every part of the application form, including the upload of your academic transcript. Don't worry if you don't have an official copy of your transcript, a screenshot of your grades is also acceptable.

Once we've received your application we start the reviewing process. If you make it to the next round you'll be sent a link to complete some online testing. Take your time with this - find a quiet spot without any distractions to make sure you give it your best shot!

After submitting your application and completing the psychometric testing, the next stage of the process is a video interview, where you'll be asked to answer three questions. Here are a few things to consider before you begin:

  • What you're wearing (think, interview appropriate attire)

  • Check your computer's camera and microphone before you start

  • Write some brief notes about the question before you start, and think about what you might say

  • But the most important thing is to relax and be yourself!
